| Chapter 1: |
Name and Office
Article 1. This Society shall be called the Slovenia-Japan Friendship Society
Article 2. The office of the Society shall be in Tokyo. |
| Chapter 2: |
Object
Article 3. The object of the Society is to promote mutual understanding
and friendship between the peoples of Slovenia and Japan
by strengthening cultural and economic relations between the two countries.
The Society shall engage in such activities as are deemed
necessary for the achievement of this object. |
| Chapter 3: |
Membership
Article 4. The membership of this Society shall consist of the following
categories:
1. Ordinary Members (Individuals)
2. Sustaining Members (Juridical Persons)
3. Honorary Members
Ordinary Members and Sustaining Members may be required to pay an admission
fee when they are admitted into the Society. The admission fee and annual
membership fee shall be decided by Board of Directors. Honorary Members
are required to pay no admission fee or annual membership fee.
Article 5. An application for new membership in the Society shall be accompanied
by the recommendation of a Member and receive approval of the Board of Directors.
Article 6.
A member may withdraw from the Society for the reason
of illness, change of address or others.
The Society may request any member to withdraw their
membership upon a decision of the Board of Directors.
Any member who fails to pay the annual membership
fee for two years shall lose their membership to the Society. |
| Chapter 4: |
Honorary Governor, Honorary President, Honorary Vice-Presidents
and Honorary Advisors
Article 7. The Society may have one Honorary Governor, one Honorary President,
and a certain number of Honorary Vice-Presidents and Honorary Advisors.
Appointment to the above positions shall be made by the President, by recommendation
or commission, when so resolved by the Board of Directors. |
